01-Benchmark marking elements & holders 1.4 Packaging and Coding types   Types used in the food industry, can filling industries and pharmaceutical industries for date coding and batch numbering. Packaging types can also be used for foil blocking, film, card, plastic, paper and metal packaging. Indent marking: Sharp faced types used to indent characters, usually into cardboard or silver foil packaging. Embossing/Debossing: Male and female types are paired to produce raised or sunken marks. Hot foil marking: Using flat faced characters to transfer foil onto packaging. Types are heated by a thermostatically controlled holder. Plastic forming: Female types are pressed into melted plastic and leaves raised moulded characters. Printing: Transfer of ink using types with flat faced characters. Any shaped and sized types can be manufactured as per customer’s requirements.   Features:   Types can be supplied in high grade brass or stainless steel.
